Stubbs and Associates, an international interior design firm based in Houston, and the firm's projects include multi-million dollar estates in exotic locations, renovations of historical buildings, private homes, commercial multi-family properties and most recently, the interior
design of a large corporate jet. But there is much more to Stubbs than simply designing for the elite and wealthy; his award-winning design of a full-care nursing facility demonstrates his passion for good design in all spaces, including what is normally seen as a drab institutional environment. His thorough and comprehensive study of all aspects of nursing home life and resident restriction, coupled with a strong desire to "lift the space far above customary limitations,"
